About Lightyear Wireless

Lightyear Wireless launched in July of 2008 as a telecommunications company in the MLM industry. Their goal is to offer customers top notch wireless communication while allowing them to save money on their monthly bill. What makes this telecom company different is the opportunity for its customers to earn compensation by referring new customers using a network marketing business model. You don’t get that from your local Verizon dealer.

Network Solutions is actually the parent company of Lightyear Wireless, which is publicly traded in the marketplace. Founded by Sherman Henderson 17 years ago, Network Solutions has an 80,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. They have hundreds of employees, data/billing system worth millions and are a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Lightyear Wireless is a very unique mobile virtual network operator. What does that mean? It means that they provide mobile wireless phone service but do not have to own license frequencies, or even the infrastructure to conduct mobile phone service. This allows Light year Wireless the ability to offer wireless services at a very low rate compared to their major competitors. So what makes this possible? They are using the Sprint 4G Network. Pretty cool, huh?

Lightyear Wireless has all the standard features you have come to expect from other major services, such as, Caller ID, Voicemail, Call Waiting, and 3-way calling. Something that really caught my attention during my research was the Lightyear Wireless unlimited nationwide talk, text, and web without any contracts, credit checks or deposits. Again, something you will not find at other major providers.

So what does it cost to get started? You can get started in Lightyear Wireless for a one-time $299 fee, in addition to the $25 web system setup fee, and $60 per month after that. There is also a $50 annual renewal fee. Once signed up, you are able to refer new people to Lightyear Wireless to start earning money based on the compensation plan.

Here are the many ways you get paid:
1. Immediate costumer activation bonus ($25 ea.)
2. Customer loyalty bonus ($200 for 3 new reps)
3. New rep enrolment ($100 ea.)

There is also residual income where you will be paid up to 10% for all you teams monthly phone bills.

Last Thoughts – Lightyear Wireless Review

It is my opinion that Light year Wireless offers a very liable source of income for somebody looking to make money in this particular industry. Over 290,000 people use a cell phone every day in the US and it is currently a $210 billion dollar industry. You may want to at least use the service if you are interested in saving money on your wireless bill every month.

In the beginning of this article I told you it was my goal to provide you an honest Lightyear Wireless review that would help you make an educated decision about this business. So here are some concerns I have about this opportunity. Though the product is great, you need to understand that it is part of a highly competitive market where major providers will offer free phones as well as other discounts. Also, most people you will speak to about this business are already committed into a contract with their current provider. This may raise an issue, unless you don’t mind managing where all your prospects are in there specific contracts.

Regardless of the MLM business you get involved with, your MLM success really depends on your ability to sponsor and recruit new people in a big way.
