Just a few short months ago I was searching on Google and Youtube looking for ways leverage the Internet to build my network marketing business. I had tried the traditional methods of chasing down my friends and family and with very little success. I quickly learned that the majority of my warm market prospects were not interested in what I had to say or what I was doing. It was very frustrating to go out of my way to connect with people I know, just to have them ignore my calls or not show up for a presentation. After a few days of searching the web, I found my solution.

What is Attraction Marketing? In short, its ability to leverage the power of the Internet in conjunction what specific marketing techniques to draw targeted prospects to you, verses you seeking out your prospects. You draw these targeted prospects to you by strategically positioning yourself (your content) in places your target market spend their time on the Internet. You see, people come to the Internet for one or all of these three reasons; Entertainment, Information and Socialization. Therefore, it only makes sense to position yourself in such a way you can be found in these places.  These places include Google, Yahoo!, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and so on.

Attraction Marketing is different than the way we see most home business owners marketing on the Internet. While the masses are marketing there company’s corporate replicated website and business opportunity, Attraction Marketers brand themselves on the Internet as leaders that people can learn from and want to work with. Remember this statement; People join people, NOT business opportunities.

Attraction Marketing – My Effective Traffic Strategy

So what have I done to extract this kind of traffic from the search engines? I use a marketing strategy known as Article Marketing or Content Marketing. So I create a piece of content (article) related to a topic or “keyword” that my prospective audience is searching for, post it to my blog (website) and then promote that original content all across the web. I promote my content by using automated tools or software that allows me to create a huge amount of ‘back-links’ pointing to my original piece of content on my personal website. A back-link is when other websites have a related piece of content like a social bookmark, article, or press release linking back to the original source (the original piece). Google looks at a back-link as a vote. The more votes you have to your own content, the more popular it is in Google’s eyes. The more popular it is, the higher it will rank in the SERPS (Search Engine Result Page). The goal is to have your content hit no less than the first page (1-10) of a keyword search result. If you can’t hit the first page, then you probably won’t get a ton of traffic from that piece of content. This is actually a pretty simple strategy and if you stay consistent you will be able to get as much traffic as you want in no time.

So you’re probably wondering how I have been able to turn this traffic into leads for my business and why I say this is just the beginning. First off, without my Attraction Marketing System, I would be tired, broke and still trying to figure out how to put my lead capture pages, sales pages, products and all the other pieces or my sales funnel together. I wouldn’t have generated a single lead or made any money yet. This is why I highly recommend you use a proven success system to get your business into cash flow as soon as possible.

I generate leads by offering valuable information in exchange for a person’s name, email, and phone number. What’s makes these leads I generate so valuable is they have been targeted by the content that I create to draw them to my website. So I know when I generate a lead, that person is highly targeted and interested in what I am offering.

This is only the beginning because as you stay consistent with this strategy things begin to snow ball out of control. The more content I create, the more opportunity I have to extract traffic from Google, the more traffic I have coming to my website, the more leads I can generate, the more leads I generate, the more people I have to talk to about my opportunity, products, and services.
