What Is Amway?
When considering whether or not a company is a scam, it is important to look at that particular company’s background. If there was an Amway scam going on, then you would not be able to get quality and truthful information on the company. In regards to Amway you can learn everything that you need to know about the company.
Amway was founded in 1959 by a group of leaders that had known and been in business with each other since 1949. Amway officially got its name in 1960 and has seen world wide notoriety.
Since being around from the 50’s and going internationally it is pretty safe to say that there is no Amway scam at all. In fact, many people have gone on to make incredible amounts of money in this business.
Why Do People Think Amway Scam?
Unfortunately in the world today it is way too easy for a company to be a scam. There have been many cases where people have put their hard earned money into a company whom they thought was legitimate only to find out at the end that company was a scam.
This and some people on the internet have facilitated many fears about scams including an Amway Scam. Fortunately there are many rules out there to make sure that scam companies do not exist and if you do the research on these companies you can pretty much figure out if there is a scam to worry about.

Hey Grant,
Great article! I personally love Amway because my dad was in it when I was growing up. Amway provided money for dad to drive a Mercedes Benz and take us on some cool vacations. It’s harder to make bog money in Amway today, but as far as the company goes, they are solid and legit. There are many companies with better comp plans as well, but as far asn the scam idea goes, Amway certainly isn’t one.

Yes Amway has been around since the dawn of Network Marketing, isn’t it time to leave off the word scam from any reviews that we as online marketers write? Using that word in a sentence with a legitimate company only fuels negative vibes towards our great industry.
I disagree Mike. There are many people out there with only negative things to say about our industry and no matter what you or I do there will always be people searching for information on a xyz company scam. Fact is this is extremely targeted traffic for my offers, which makes sense to target these keywords and pull in tons of targeted visitors to my website. If you want to learn more about SEO and how I do it go ahead and connect with me on any of the various social media sites I participate on.
